Two cities, one voice
Kyiv taught me to feel; London taught me to listen. Somewhere between them, LilPlay takes shape.

LilPlay · JournalKyiv sounds loud to me: morning conversations, familiar routes and the rhythm of a language you can recognise inside any crowd. It remains the emotional starting point for many of my songs.
London taught me to listen differently. Dozens of musical worlds can meet in a single Underground carriage. The city constantly reminds me that pop music has no single correct form.
Living between two cities can feel like an unfinished conversation. Yet the distance makes it clearer what I want to preserve in my sound: Ukrainian sincerity, a contemporary pulse and room for vulnerability.
I am not trying to choose one city over the other. I am more interested in making music at the point where their energies meet.
